These are 3/16 inch steel plates with a 5/8 inch hole to realign the front bolt of a lower control arm. Then take the vehicle to a muffler or other shop and have them welded. Designed for the below General Motors vehicles but will work on many others and even makes. The round plate is approximately 3 inch diameter for the front and the quarter pie plate is for the rear or nut side. You can install this yourself by putting vehicle on a jack stand lower enough that you can get a bottle jack, small floor jack or scissors jack under the bolt bushing. Remove the wheel. Disconnect the sway bar from the lower control arm. It is what caused the issue twisting every time you pull into a driveway or turn a corner. It helps to have two Jack's one to steady the control arm as support and one to jack upward at the bolt Loosen the bolt and jack upward under the control arm near the bushing until the pressure is off the bolt and it is back into position Wash the bolt location down with spray carb cleaner Carefully remove the bolt which should be lined up with o pressure or very low pressure on it. Wire wheel the area if needed and wash grease away with the carb cleaner and a rag. Now put the plates on gently and tighten the bolt bending the plates to the frame making sure the control arm does not move. Get it tight. Leave the sway bar disconnected and the bent shape should hold the bolt to oem position. Put the tire on and head to the welder immediately. Of course if you have your own welder - weld the plates. Made for GM vehicles but will fit others with a 5/8 diameter bolt. Re-attached the lower control arm after welding
